This is why the Denplan Excel Accreditation Programme has been developed. It's a market leading programme designed to provide your dentist with all the information needed, as well as helping them to focus on giving the highest quality dental treatment to you.

In December we were formally assessed and again we have been one of the first dental practices to meet the rigorous standards required for this prestigious award
BDA Good Practice Scheme
Bachelors Walk Dental Surgery has recently been recognised by the BDA as committed to good practice and has joined its Good Practice Scheme. This means that the practice meets nationally recognised standards to provide the best possible care for its patients.
As a member of the BDA's Good Practice Scheme, each member of the practice team has signed up to the following 10-point commitment:
- We aim to provide dental care of consistently good quality for all patients
- We only provide care that meets your needs and wishes
- We aim to make your treatment as comfortable and convenient as possible
- We look after your general health and safety while receiving dental care
- We follow the BDA's guidelines on infection control
- We check for mouth cancer and tell you what we find
- We take part in continuing professional development to keep our skills and knowledge up to date
- We train all staff in practice wide work systems and review training plans once a year
- We welcome feedback and deal promptly with any complaints
- Every member of the practice is aware of the need to work safely under General Dental Council guidelines.
